Increasing Your Google PR For Your Blog
If you’re looking to increase your PR, it’s not as hard as you might think. I am going to skim over the ways I’ve found that work for upping your PR.
Submit your blog to search engines, blog directories and blog searches. I’ve had the best luck finding directories through google searches. Their are tons and tons out there. Just do a search for them, and sign up for as many as possible. That’ll get your blog listed for a bunch of different places, and bring in more readers as well. Don’t forget to do the average “technorati” add too. Technorati will help you see how many blogs link to you, and makes it so you can be found through their site as well. A few days ago a guy emailed me because I was listed high up in one of his technorati searches for different blogs.
Next you’ll want to try to do some link exchanges. Comment on other blogs and ask if anyone is willing to do a link exchange. The more links that your blog receives by sites listed on google, the higher your PR will go.
Lastly, try a site like Blog Explosion. Granted, it is a traffic exchange, but the people there are the type to actually stop and read your blog while they surf. Don’t forget to do that yourself with blogs that you come across. That is actually what I like to do. I love to read the blogs that I come across when I’m surfing, and if I have something worth saying, I usually say it. Since most comment forms give you the chance to add your link, that gives a link back to you for people to click. You can also enter your blog into things like the blog rocket or the battle of the blogs, which will hopefully bring atleast one person by that’ll start visiting your blog regularly. Because, you see, you’ll rank higher if you receive a lot of unique visitors.
All in all, though, a combination of all that is what gives you your rank. The more you do, the higher it’ll be. Then as your blog ages and gets older, your rank will get higher since you’ll accumulate new links to your blog, and new readers. Have fun with it, though. Don’t forget that!

Good job! Your site is great!
