Getting Rid Of Mice
Mice, those unwelcomed visitors that sometimes make their way into our homes. Then, of course, they don’t ever seem to want to leave!
Mice tend to be a big problem during the winter. That’s mostly when they move in, because they don’t want to stay in the cold any more than we do. If that happens, then it’s time to find a way to get rid of them.
Their are a variety of traps, and tricks that are used to get rid of mice. Keep in mind what you’d prefer to do, before you do it.
- Mouse traps. If you don’t care about taking care of a dead mouse attached to a mouse trap, then this is the one for you. It is fool proof. It works every time.
- Humane Mouse Traps. These are great if you don’t want to kill the mouse. Their only fault? We’ve tried them here at my house, and they never went off for us. The mouse was able to walk right in, take the bate, and walk right out without the darn thing going off at all.
- Mouse poison. Putting the mouse poison where you know the mice tend to hang out the most can be a great way to get rid of these pests. If you have pets, or kids, mouse poison probably isn’t something you should use.
- Mouse radar repellant. I’ve hear about these, and seen them in the store. I don’t know if they actually work though. I’ve never tried it. Anyway, this little thing is supposed to let off a sound we can’t hear that will repel mice from your home. Worth a try, I suppose?
Their are many options out there, just keep trying til you find the one that works best for your home!
