Trick Or Treat Safety
By Angel | October 29th, 2007 | Category: All Articles |If you have some children going out trick or treating by themselves this Halloween, here are some trick or treat safety tips that you might find helpful.
- Glow in the dark is a good thing. By getting your child a glow in the dark pumpkin, putting glow in the dark tape on their coat or costume, or having them walk with a flashlight, will make your child more visible to cars. The worst thing that could happen would be a child getting hit because they weren’t visible.
- If your child is old enough, they can do this themselves, but if not it’s important that you do. Go through the candy and check it. If it looks like it’s been opened, tampered with in any way, or has no wrapper, throw it out. Better safe than sorry.
- My last tip for the evening will have to be, have your child go out with friends or as a group with their other siblings. That way they can keep track of each other. That’s much better than having your child go on their own, because their will be others to let you know if something bad was to happen.
- Most of all, make sure you enjoy yourself too. You’re never too old to dress up.
Have a Purrrrrrrfect Halloween!
