Decorating For Christmas On A Budget
By Angel | November 7th, 2007 | Category: All Articles, Holidays |Lets face it, not everyone can afford to spend thousands and thousands on just Christmas. But just because you don’t have the money doesn’t mean you have to be a Scrooge.
Outdoor Decorations
This has to be the easiest thing. Search the Christmas isles of walmart. They offer a variety of those lawn decorations that all you need to do is plug it in and it blows up and does something or another. Check those out and you might find that they are quite neat and affordable. I have seen them marked at $30, cheapest. So take a look.
If you were to get only one decoration, though, I would have to say that you need to go after those fun lightcicles. The outside christmas lights that look like icicles are very fun and add a very classic wintery touch to your home for the holiday season.
Indoor Decorations
Did you know that you can get a 6 foot fake tree from walmart for only $30? Or from big lots, which is what we did. You can also get your fake tree in more than just “realistic”. Shop around and you might see that big lots has some shorter trees that are red and purple. They even have a white fake tree in full size.
After you’ve got your tree, it’s time to decorate it, and your house. This is why your next stop will be the dollar store. Go to your local dollar store and you might find that they have a lot to offer for low prices.
And with lots of luck, by the time you’re done decorating your home, you wouldn’t have hurt your wallet too badly.

Hi,
some really wonderful ideas at affordable prices, just what we need right now.
thanks
