Joining A Bank

For the longest time I didn’t have a checking account, but once I took the step to opening one I was glad I did.

WaMu is one of a few banks out there that offers a checking account that is free of charge. But the one thing that WaMu has that many other banks don’t would have to be location. Out of the banks in the world that offers free checking, they’re local based banks only. So it’s definitely a positive that WaMu isn’t like that.

Another positive point that I’ve found is actually about their website. Before you get too far into checking out their options, they give you a map of the US and you’re to pick out your own state. That way you can see what is available to you before you go any farther or have to read any stuff that’ll end up being useless for you. Once you know if they have a bank in your area, then you can look farther into the options available through them.
