An Alternative To Ebay

28 November 2007 No Comment

Ebay is one of the most popular places on the web to buy and sell things, but unfortunately it’s not exactly free to sell. For example, I just spent $.80 yesterday to list an item that they plan on taking a percentage of what I win on it anyway.

That is why I’ve been looking for an ebay alternative. Their has to be something out there that is free – completely free – yet has a large group of people that buy and sell there. Below I’m listing 4 such websites that are worth a look:

  • WeBidz Auctions: This website calls themselves the alternative to ebay. They promote that fact, rightly so. It appears that they have a good layout setup and a large member base.
  • IBidFree.com: They’re an auction site that is very much free. They have a classifieds section as well.
  • Auction Fire: I don’t think they look quite as great as WeBids does, but they definitely are an option to chose from for an alternative to ebay.
  • Free Auction Website: This auction site promotes that their will never be any fees, ever. Worth a look at least!

Hopefully this small list will be of some help to you for finding the right alternative to ebay that you like the most.
