Clearing Out Your Bookmarks
Chances are that if you’ve been adding to your bookmarks on your browser for some time, you’ve got a giant list of links. What’s worse is that you probably don’t know what 99% of them are for.
Because bookmarks can get clogged up so fast, it’s important to keep them fresh by going through them every couple months. Go through and see if their are any that are needed, or if their are any that can be weeded out. Maybe you don’t have the account anymore for the website, or the website is just dead. If you keep your bookmarks organized and cleaned up, you’ll be able to find what you want when you want it.
The best way to make clearing out your bookmarks easier in the future is to organize them now. Make subfolders for specific types of links that you can bunch together. Make sub-subfolders if you need to. Get everything set up in an organized fashion so when you’re ready to “spring clean” your bookmarks it’ll be easier to tell what you do and do not need anymore.
