A part of trying to start an online store is finding a good way to go about it. Etsy is an option that exists for those who are crafty and make the items they’re looking to sell.

Etsy was founding in 2005, making them not very old. But in that short period of time the store system has grown to be a very large community of crafters and people who work from home with their stores. They have gone over a million people that run a shop on there, and I’ve heard a few success stories with this ecommerce shop option.

The best part of Etsy, I think, would be the fact that because they specialize in handmade items the people who go there to shop will be there because that’s what they want. That’s a hard thing to get with other estores.
