The Toys Our Kids Are Talking About

Do you really need me to tell you about these toys?
There is a good chance that the toys on this list have been mentioned by most children at least once. I will admit that I’ve cheated a little on my list. I don’t have a boy, so I had to go searching through other sources to find out what the boys want. However, I do have a little girl and those girl must-haves are genuine.
- Kids between the ages of 3 and 8 years old want the Giddyup ‘n Go Pony.
- My Real Digital Camera and My Real Digital Video Camera
- Star Wars
- Batman
- Transformers
- Hannah Montana
- Barbie
- High School Musical
- The instant I saw this pony on the front page of the Little Tikes shop at home catalog, I knew this had to be the toy of the season for youngsters. At a cool $200, I doubt it’s what parents want. However, that won’t stop our kids from begging.
- From what I’ve seen with children, they want to be like us. Our kids want to take photos of the things they love, and grab video shots that they can watch on a computer (or TV). It can be turned into an amazing learning experience too, if you have the money for these gifts. The video camera sits at $100 while the digital camera is $45. However, the video camera is waterproof.
- Brands are big and it appears that you can’t go wrong with Star Wars for boys. I never liked it, but I can see why it’d be fun to fight with light sabers. Star Wars is a trend I have spotted year after year.
- Nothing is more fun that the classic superhero story, and Batman is the hero to be. Thanks to the movie which came out earlier this year, the franchise has been revived for yet another holiday season.
- It seems their popularity is still going strong among young boys. I’m just thankful my truck doesn’t really turn into a robot.
- I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty stick of hearing about this show. No matter how long it has run, it seems to never lose popularity. My 3 year old saw an episode once and can tell you who Hannah is. However, that is what makes this such a profitable franchise. All the girls either want to be her, or want stuff with her on it.
- Although it’s not always the most affordable, thankfully a plain Barbie is much more affordable than some of the here now, gone tomorrow gifts up this season. Almost every girl loves a Barbie and won’t care if you only spent $20 on 3-4 of them.
- This is one movie series which has children of all ages dancing around and singing into their hairbrush. They even created a show based on finding a new character that would appear in #3. If you’ve caught your children watching the movie on repeat, I would imagine they’d enjoy the toys too.
