Entrepreneurs In The News
I spend quite a bit of time each day going through news articles, most of it on entrepreneurs. I almost always find an inspiring story or two while surfing through my feeds. If these people inspire me, what is to keep them from inspiring you? Here is a look at some of these notable entrepreneurs and inventors:
- Anna Mayo | Daisychain | Source
Anna is the inventor of the Daisychain, a stylish maternity belt. Inspired by her sister, she designed and created a fun belt that would look good and still get the job done.
- Rochelle Evering | Air Affairs LLC | Source
This creative woman has taken balloon art to the next level. While you might imagine a balloon poodle, Rochelle will make you a balloon Dora The Explorer instead. Through her business, she puts together elaborate balloon designs for a variety of occasions.
- Sara Polon | Soupergirl | Source
This Washington based business will give you all the benefits of a hot meal, without all the work. Sara and her mom work together to make and deliver soup to local residents. Through the Soupergirl website customers may order their soup. From there they can choose whether they will pick up their order or, for an small fee, have it delivered to their doorstep instead.
- Michelle Brandriss | Name Bubbles | Source
With my daughter in head start, I have learned one lesson: everything must be labeled. That is why I can understand Michelle and what lead her to start Name Bubbles.
Like many successful businesses, hers was built out of necessity. She needed durable labels that would stay on items such as clothes or cups, without coming off after being washed a few times. When she decided to stay at home and raise her son, she knew it was time to start a business around her idea.
Every entrepreneur has their own story. Just like snowflakes, they’re all unique and it shows in their choice of direction. What’s your story?
