Forget Makeup & Passion, Purse Parties Are Where It Is At
Nearly everyone is familiar with the Herbalife health pills, the Tupperware bowls, the Mary Kay or Avon makeup, and the sex parties of Passion Parties. Not only are they everywhere, some people have made a living off the products each company sells. How? Because each company hopes that you will sell their products for them. They’re all direct sales opportunities.
Lately I have noticed a new trend in the direct selling that even took me by surprise: handbags. Considering my own obsession with them, that was one opportunity I knew needed to be looked at closely. For women like me a direct sales party just did not seem like my kind of fun, handbags might actually change my mind.
The opportunity that inspired this post: B’s Purses.
Okay, so I didn’t exactly sit in on a B’s purse party but I would have a hard time saying no if someone was to approach me about one.
So, what is the 411 on this company? Apparently their representatives are called representatives (no ‘Bag That Carries Stuff Specialists’ are found here), and their reps make money by working parties in willing homes and through online sales.
Like most direct sales opportunities it does come with an investment, in this case a $99 investment for the starter kit.
While I might have to argue with the main website when they call making money through purse sales the ‘easy way,’ I am willing to bet that they do have a lot of fun. What girl wouldn’t enjoy a party based on something she loves?
Unfortunately I am not the sales-y type, so I’m not about to start knocking down doors for a chance to sell handbags. If I was though… well, lets just say I would start polishing my sales pitch now.
