Why Your Business Is On Twitter (& What You Can Do About It!) | American Chronicle

10 July 2009 No Comment

Unfortunately I only ever wrote one article for the American Chronicle after I joined in October of last year.  I was unable to find the time to write something new, until recently.  Yesterday I published a new article on their website and it is called, “Why You’re On Twitter (& What You Can Do About It!)” for businesses.twitter

Articles talking about the success businesses have had on the networking site are everywhere. While they make it seem like sales will increase just by joining, I know better.  In my article I share 7 tips on how businesses can create a secure presence using their service, helping them reach that goal.

Here is a small excerpt from my article:

Why would you want to know when people are talking about your competition? If they are your competition, that means they offer a service similar to yours. If what they’re selling is similar and someone was interested enough to mention it, they are now a prospect. That gives you the opportunity to swoop in and follow them. You never know when you might turn a competitor’s unsatisfied customer into your happy customer.

You can continue to read the article here.
