Momportunities: Turn Your Shopping Expertise Into Cash

17 August 2009 No Comment

Keep in mind I never said you would get rich quick.  However, if you know your way around the internet and have an interest in certain areas of shopping, IMshopping wants you.

imshopping Think ChaCha meets shopping advice.  Where ChaCha has guides that seek out answers to your questions, IMshopping has people that will seek out answers to your shopping questions.  While that might sound good, there is a catch to your earning anything from your answer: it must be voted the best.

The reality is that IMshopping is as far away from offering a job-like income as it might get, but someone with some time and patience can make a few extra dollars.

IMshopping Overview

Positives

You have the opportunity to make a little cash by simply looking up an answer to someone’s shopping question.

It gives you the opportunity to share your own insider knowledge.  When something might not appear in the mainstream internet shopping market, you can use what you know to find that same item for less on a lesser known website.

There is always the joy of knowing that you are helping others.

Negatives

You are not guaranteed to be paid for your answer.  It has to be voted best.  You could either do very well for an hours worth of answering questions, or make nothing in return for your time.

Cashing out on what you have made is limited to $40.  Considering you are probably making only $2 or less per question you are voted best on, that can take a long time to reach.

While this might make for the perfect spare cash momportunity for some, it is definitely not for everyone.  If you’re at all unsure about it, you can always join (as I have) just to check it out and see for yourself.
