From the stay-at-home mom to the CEO of a large corporation, the daily schedule can become the dark shadow that hangs over an otherwise beautiful day. Schedules suck, yet they exist. You might even say that you don’t have a schedule, but I’d disagree. A schedule doesn’t need to be written on paper.
So what makes a schedule, well, a schedule?

No matter how long I write, I have 3 techniques I use which will always remain consistent.

I write by hand;
I keep an idea book; and
I gather inspiration where I can find it, by reading.

Physically writing is therapeutic and it can spark inspiration on it’s own. I couldn’t live without a pen and notebook. Then there is my little idea book. It’s no bigger than a pocket notepad but it offers me refuge when I can’t get an idea for an article out of …

This is part one of a two part article about starting your own self-hosted blog.
Although this article was intended to teach you about starting a self-hosted blog, the reason for splitting it up is because you don’t have to start a blog to need a good domain and host.

If you’re a parent, then you know how crowded it can get trying to find a place to save your child’s art, or the tears when you finally just throw it away to make room for more. Today’s tip just might be the advice you are looking for!
Rather than packing away the art your child has produced, take a picture of it. When those pictures get printed, put them in an album.
Yes, it really is that simple. Just imagine how much “art” can be saved within those …

Who wants to wait on hold before getting any help? I’ve heard of people being kept on hold for a half hour or more! Customer service is a huge pain in the butt. Especially if the business doesn’t offer very helpful service.
It’s a Monday and I thought I’d start it off with a tip to help those that are stuck on hold:
When asked your language, push 2 for Spanish.
Why would you want to do that? The operators to handle the Spanish speaking customers are not only …

Let’s face it, we all have had a zit pop up at least once in our lives somewhere on our face or body. The cause of the acne can be related to a whole variety of reasons. Some of which are below:

When women approach their time of the month it can actually cause them to see more acne because the estrogen levels fluctuate at that time.
It may be genetic. There is nothing definitely on this yet, but it’s possible that the problem may be genetic which will …

There can be so much to the party process that it can feel a bit daunting. Here are some ideas of my own to help get you through the process:

Decide on a theme. You’ll want to get this out of the way first. If there is going to be a theme, make sure you will have everything you will need available to be purchased. Or else you might find yourself falling a little short of what you’re looking for.
Make your party list. Who would …

Many people honestly do not know how to drive in bad weather. Although I’m not an expert, I do live in Michigan. And I’ve had the pleasure of driving at night when the roads were in terrible condition, while it’s still heavily snowing.
Tip #1
Drive carefully. Don’t automatically assume it’s okay to do a certain speed. If you’ve seen people driving by your house doing 20mph, let that be hint to you that you should probably leave the house early for any appointments and give yourself extra …

Yesterday my daughter broke the arm off my glasses and it made me think that maybe I could do a quick post with advice on fixing your glasses when all things seem lost.
As a short disclaimer: These tips won’t make your glasses pretty, and they’re not a permanent fix. You’ll want to get a new pair of glasses as soon as possible, but these tips can work temporarily.
Plastic Frames
If you broke your plastic framed glasses, I think this might be the easiest fix possible. All you need …
