Making Money From Home
As you’ve probably noticed, the internet is filled with “get rich quick” schemes. 99% of which I wouldn’t spend a dime on. What I have learned, not all are b.s.
The only work from home job, that I know of, that is any good is Stuff A Friend. It is free to be a rep., and you don’t have to purchase any sale aides unless you want to. If selling is something you’re good at, this might be an opportunity that you’d enjoy. The products they sell are unstuffed stuffed animals, dolls and so on that the person stuffs on their own. Much like build a bear workshop, I suppose.
A popular way of making some money are paid to read, paid to click, and paid to promote sites. A good paid to read that I know is Hits4Pay. When you join they give a $10 incentive bonus, just for joining. Then you earn $.02 per “paid email” that you view through the website’s inbox. To be honest, on a holiday-free week I can make almost $1 a week (give or take). I’ve noticed that they tend not to post any ads on weekends or on a holiday. Besides that though, they’re a great site. I’ve made over $.50 in one day before. The lowest amount I’ve made in one day was about $.18. Cash out is at $25. Anyone with $25 or more in their account at the first of the month automaticly gets their check mailed to them for what they’ve earned. With a free $10, all you have to earn is $15 to reach cash out.
DonkeyMails is another paid to read, but it’s also a paid to click and paid to promote. I don’t use DonkeyMails because it doesn’t pay much (1/4th of a cent per email), but they have a no minimum payout. They pay through egold and paypal.
Another good option for making money from home is by using advertising on your website. It only really works if you have a semi-popular website though. If you don’t get much traffic, you won’t make much from the advertising. Using text ads like Google Adsense, AdBrite, Adster, or Text Link Ads can all be profitable. You can also do affiliate programs which pay per lead and/or per sale. A good website to find the best affiliate programs would be at Commission Junction. They have a large list of affiliates to choose from.
If you like to blog, a site like BlogCharm might be just what you’re looking for. BlogCharm pays you for views your blog gets. They have a small bar that goes across the top of your blog with a bit of text advertising. I’m not sure exactly how many views per cent you make, but I do know cash out is at $10.
On the other hand, if you already have a blog and it’s older than 3 months, you can get paid to post about different products from , Blogsvertise, or BloggingAds. I don’t know about BloggingAds, because my website isn’t old enough to be able to join. As for Blogsvertise, I joined but I haven’t received any ads to write yet. The best one I’ve heard about, and another one I can’t join yet (because my site isn’t 3 months old yet) is PayPerPost. They give you a list and you get to pick and choose, instead of having them assigned. You can make as much or as little as you choose. It all depends on how many paid posts you choose to do. Writing paid posts could possibly be the best and easiest way to make a little extra cash off your weblog.
As you can see, their are ways to make money online that don’t ask for your first born as collateral. Do a google search or two and look around. You might find more!
