Healthy Snacks

With the kids now out of school, and playing outside all day long, you’re probably looking for some nice cool treats to keep them happy and are good for them.

The number one healthy treat, no matter what, is fruit and veggies! Nice cold baby carrots with ranch dressing are always a good treat. Cellery and cream cheese is another classic cool healthy treat.

If you want something you know will be a hit, you can make 100% juice pops. Popsicle molds are a great way to make your own popsicles instead of depending on the store and paying high prices. It’s simple and easy. All you need are the molds and some juice of your choice. If you like apples, apple juice works great. If you like grape, grape juice would be what you want. Be creative!

If you use your imagination, you will be able to come up with a variety of healthy, cool, snacks for the summer!
