What is A Router?

Not everyone knows everything about computers. It’s obvious. So I’d like to share a little info on what exactly a router is. A router is a type of device that is used to determine the path for data to travel between different networks and forwards data to the next device in it’s path. That is the basic definition. I would say that they’re probably most likely used when it comes to big businesses with a large network of computers.

One type of router out there would be a Linksys router. Their routers are pretty well known for being the industry leader when it comes to them. Their are a variety of things that they offer when it comes to their routers and it makes them definitely worth a look.
