Home Remedies: Acne
Acne is a common problem that usually effects teenagers at a point in their life when they care the most about how they look. In general the rule is, “don’t pick at it.” but their are a few things that you can do to make ridding yourself from this annoying problem a little easier.
Although dirt doesn’t cause acne, it can seriously clog up the pores in your face. So the best thing to do would be to wash your face with soap and water around two - three times a day. That’s the simple and easiest way to minimize acne on your face. Just make sure you don’t scrub your face too hard. It doesn’t do any good to submit your skin through harsh scrubbing.
If you still have a general acne problem, look for an over-the-counter treatments that contain benzoyl peroxide. Using that while continuing to watch your face two - three times a day can help keep acne away.
My last acne tip for you is a simple one if you’re looking to prevent a pimple that is already starting to form, ice it. Apply ice to it for about 5 minutes. It’ll slow down how fast it grows giving you time before it does pop out.
