Spooky Yard Decor

My favorite part of any holiday, Halloween especially, are the yard decorations. Halloween has the best of all decorations though.

If you’re looking for the best yard decoration of all, and you have some money, go to a Big Lots near you and see if it’s available. It is a large, walk through house. It’s got a gargoyle on the roof and when someone walks through it plays spooky music. That is the ultimate in fun yard things. Put it up for the night of trick or treating. That way all your fun trick or treaters will have to walk through for their candy prize! It’s something that can be enjoyed year after year.

If you’re looking for something more affordable, then their’s no way to go wrong with some pumpkins and some fake straw bales [or even the real stuff]. I’ve seen them at Big Lots, they’re shaped as a square so you can stack them in your front yard. Add in some Halloween-esque items like pumpkins or a scare crow and you can make a great looking festive scene without much trouble.

Most of all, use your imagination. That makes it all so much better!
