Which Came First, The Pen Or The Writer?

In the world we live in now, writers hardly ever need a pen and paper anymore. A laptop and good typing skills are all that are really used anymore.

No.

A good writer still gets out their pen and paper. They need it. Sometimes the best way to brainstorm is by hand. For moments when a writer intends to sit down and pen out everything, they need a good pen.

That doesn’t mean they need the most expensive pen on the market. Just the right pen for them. The one that fits in their hand comfortably for long period of time writing. The right curve and cushion where it’s needed.

So what are some of those things to look for? Width, do you feel comfortable using a pen that is large in circumference or something a little thinner. How about a fine point or medium point? Do you need something with a grip or do you prefer it without? Consider these things when pen shopping. They can make a difference in the comfort of writing.

For someone who really doesn’t know what pen is the most comfortable to use, I recommend trying out different kinds of pens. When they find the right one, they will know it pretty fast.
